5 years....

On May 6th Steve and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary! Seriously 5 year? It makes me feel so old but then I remember I got married at 20....that made me also seem old:-) We really didn't do much..Steve took his day off, we went to Fort Collins and went to our favorite wings restaurant...with my family:-) My aunt and Uncle were in town for the night, and we both wanted to see them. It all worked out... In the 5 years we have been married we have NEVER been in the same town on our actual anniversary. This year it was nice to spend the actual day together! Maybe one of these years we will do something special...

we went as a family to Idaho about a month ago and then I was back two weeks later with my family for my brother Jeff's doctorate graduation. Now I LOVE traveling but I can say I wont be going back to Utah or Idaho until this baby is born... Way to stressful and its getting so close!!! 9 weeks!! and im done!

I have started to kind of gather last minute items, my favorite so far is my moby wrap! I know I don't want a double stroller, who has room to store one of those monsters?! i tried it out and needed a "tester" with khloe asleep and all her babies were in her room Buddy was naturally the best choice.AND he LOVED it!
I cant wait to put little Dax in it! 9 weeks...i can handle 9 more weeks...

With only 9 weeks left and our goal of getting the back yard in before he is here, we needed to start asap! Stupid foot and a half of snow 2 weeks ago kinda hampered us getting going...
As we speak our yard is being sprayed for lines! we put in an area for Khloes slide and tramp. man those are a lot of work!
ok it was work for Steve...I did get him a drink and lunch though....that is working right?....honestly all I wanted to do was help...but with 82 degree weather swollen feet and back pain that limits me even walking, I didn't think helping with digging was a good idea. I
I like how it turned out...we have the tramp left and the rocks around the trees...we are waiting to see if our trees survived the winter before we make them pretty!

here are a couple funny things that i randomly found!

yes that plunger is actually 5 feet tall..way to go Evanston Wyoming!

this is my nephew Will! He is such a cutie! Khloe and him LOVED each other!
this was a sad week for us...our AMAZING neighbors moved to Colorado...they used to bring us home watermelons, fresh fruit and veggies from their parents farm! they would shovel our driveway...lend us tools...anything you could think of...We were VERY sad to see them move:-(
and lastly, we have a missionary who has a gluten allergy! my poor mother-in-law is probably sick of me asking...can he have this? (she has a gluten allergy to) my phone is packed with pictures of nutrition facts!:-)

randomness..

khloe had a really rough day...So did mom! she screamed for hours on end if i didn't just SIT with her...unfortunately there were things that HAD to be done and I couldn't hold her...

But the next week she got her share of cuddles...

this was me at week 22...? i think...

my birthday dinner!!! I could go for more of these, to  bad they are an hour drive...

I was lucky enough to have Both my brothers home in march! the bad part was they were a week apart! Chris and I packed up and went to the Denver aquarium.. it was fun...I think we enjoyed it more than Khloe did...she didn't understand that the glass wall would hold the fish in...
She finally figured it out after one of the fish ran into the glass...but that was in the LAST room....

we had only 4 days of beautiful weather...no wind either...Wyoming winter is almost over...

24 weeks!

Steve has become good friends with a driver from Walmart. Walmart is SUPER picky on the freight that they will take, a rip, dent in the box any flaw(even if its not to the product) they wont take it..that means the driver will get stuck with a flat of cucumbers, watermelons, peaches, shampoo anything they sell at Walmart. Since Steve and this guy are good friends we get the flats! 50 lbs of cucumbers! i made sweet pickles, they were soo good! a huge perk of the job!

yep, the only picture I was able to get of Khloe on Easter... Steve spoke in church, we were late, and Khloe didn't want to be there that day! Oh well....

Khloe has figured out how to turn the camera on my phone around and take pics of herself...Cute hu?

why watch tv....when the washer is going?

you are reading that right....9 degrees with wind! its so cold outside today! we have not left our house, nor do we plan on it
they say we could get up to 15 inches of snow...i hope they are wrong..

this is how conference weekend went down at our house...lots of sleeping while i cook...i love cooking and listening to conference...its a weakness, or else id look like these two!

strawberries were .99 a pound this week. 20 lbs is what i ended up with...i think..

pretty sure ill never have to buy strawberries again....

update!

Well we found our our little nugget is a B.O.Y!! I'm pretty sure Steve doesn't believe me...We are thrilled to have the opportunity to have one of each! We are still deciding on a name..we have one that we both love but since Steve is in disbelief we are  waiting till our next ultra sound on April 15 to announce the name:-)

We had our fundraiser for the Young Men and Young Women at the beginning of the month...it was such a success! we raised enough money to send EVERYONE to camp!!! HUGE blessing for our ward! Really for any ward!  I wish I had time that night to take pictures of what people donated and the AMAZING chili that people brought! Next year ill remember to assign someone to do that!

This key is the key to the church...One Thursday night for mutual I went in early to set up.. I kept my coat on just to make sure i had a SAFE place for this key...i know i should have had a HUGE key ring so i didn't loose it...any ways about 10 minutes before girls were going to be showing up and MANY trips back and forth from my car to the room I had lost the key....Its MAYBE 20 feet from the room we meet in to my car..no snow no crap on the ground... i kept thinking how did i loose my key..mutual went on like normal a couple girls went to my car to look to see if they could find it(i might have offered $20...) no one found it...sick to my stomach i walked to the bishops office and told him.."i lost my key". We are already short on keys...the next morning on my way to walmart i found myself in the church parking lot...looking for my key...i searched high and low! as i was just about to give up i thought look in the bushes...about 3 FEET into these HUGE bushes was my key!!! How the heck did it get there?! who cares...i found my key!

yes my dog jumps from the couch to the counter on a regular biases...

this is normal at our house...
 so is playing basketball...

AND bringing owls to the back yard...
AND more butt crack..her hair is NOT red..i do NOT know why it looks like a horrible color job!

**warning this post gets pg-13...

I warned you...Khloe HATES her diaper being changed...as a result this happens a lot at our house...she has a pretty cute butt if you ask me!
She has also started doing everything I..this is her cooking her potatoes!
She must have her Starbucks when I get one! vanilla beans are so good! plus the whipping cream on top is like heaven... oh I wish it wasn't Sunday so I could go get one:-)
(no coffee is in this drink, vanilla flavoring cream and ice..plus the whipping cream...)
My little brother played 45 minutes away from our house, So of course we went to watch! Khloe was so cute in her Bengal colors, tutu and all!

after the game waiting for Chris to come out she LOVED running around the court...chasing the boys who were playing basketball and she would yell "BALL". at least she loves whats going to pay for her college right? ;)

She was so happy running playing and yelling. she even went to dinner at 10 at night and sat nicely and played never once seemed sick...then in the morning she woke up with Croup...a temp of 105 and a heart rate of 202!! after rushing to the doctors office and EKG of her heart they decided it must be from the high temp...the next day we noticed her eyes getting swollen and gooey, called the doctor on call(We have the BEST pediatrician!) and she just called in drops without even making us drive to Fort Collins...poor thing has been so sick...we are now crossing our fingers that no one else gets it...especially Steve..he get to go to Disney World in a week!(what company doesn't pay for the family to join him at Disney World?! oh wait...ours!...lame) maybe in 3 years when our kids will be old enough to have fun we will join dad...
"owls" goes everywhere with khloe even the tub....

watching owls dry from being in the tub is so mean...
this was Khloe this morning...her eyes were glued shut this morning...still pretty puffy and red but her magic eye drops are working wonders!

thinking about buying a living cow after this post...

Since I stopped working doing hair AND working with my wonderful old guy... and a new baby due July 17 is the set date for my c-section:-) i have been looking for ways to cut a few costs around the house...sadly the first is eating out:-( this is my weakness...i LOVE eating out! the other thing i had to cut was shopping..Target is a money trap..never get out without spending $50...with the two things that normally fill my day up gone I have been trying to do find things to do. Now there is my new calling, young women president..that keeps me BEYOND SUPER BUSY but mostly at night.  the other thing is finding simple ways to save money! Its actually become a game and something i enjoy!(here is the amazing site i get things from ( http://www.funcheaporfree.com/ ) the one i tried today was baking bread! .29 cents a loaf!(or pintrest says) compared to $2.50 for a crap loaf from Walmart!  it was super easy, and such a big savings for our family. I normally buy 2 loafs a week, that comes out to be about $20 a month... i think its worth it! Now if only i could have a cow in my back yard to cut our 20 gallons of milk a month budget...you read that right almost a gallon a day...Steve drinks sooo much milk...and now that i crave milk its only going up..ugh 3.09x20=alot for milk!

the good news is that i was asked if i would work 1 day a week with my favorite old guy:-) Ill be doing that until the end of May. I love that my boss calls me just to work random shifts, I swear im always asked at the right time! this could be the last time i can work for a long time! plus i love my old guy! he called me Christmas morning! seriously such an amazing man!

catch up....

Our house has been busier than ever! I feel like every day im falling behind more and more! The house seems to be the best example of this...my floors have not been moped(well until yesterday), toys filled the house, and dog food scattered in every corner! Yesterday when Steve came home he stopped at the front door and said "Oh my gosh, the house looks good". You know its bad when Steve says something about it.... Im catching up little by little...the laundry wont be done until Tuesday though...our washer finally stopped working..sad day BUT that means I got to pick out a beautiful new set:-) and they come on Tuesday!! I cant wait!

Christmas this year was kinda a bust...Christmas eve eve I had the flu, Christmas Eve we spent in the Emergency room with khloe... but Christmas day was amazing. My grandparents came all the way from Logan to spend it with Khloe! Some of my fondest memories is having my Grandpa show up at our door step Christmas eve he would always say "we finished making the toys early, Santa said hello" He is an elf for the north pole you know;-) (yes i believed this for way to long) so it was such a fun day sharing my memories with Khloe!

these are just a couple of my favorite pictures from the past couple of months...
I wish this chair wasn't $150...I love it!

 the backwards diaper!
My dad who is just the most amazing person ever, dropped going to work for the day, drove to my house and watch khloe for 4 hours(it seems like everyone i know had the flu that day)! He changed her diaper and this is how it ended up:-) it made me so incredibly happy to know that Khloe is this loved! most would just say "ill wait till mom gets home to change you"
