Im just pretending to be Juno

Sunday night steve and I really didnt have alot to do and got really board! so while steve ate his pizza rolls I opened up a dvd from under the tree..it was JUNO! I freaking loved that movie..DONT GET ANY IDEAS IM NOT PREGO...im just pretending to be juno! If you have not seen Juno i strongly suggest it! we take off on wednesday for colorado! and we cant wait! and Christmas is almost here!!!!

Its begining to look alot like christmas!

This weekend it was the Cobbley family Christmas party! it was so fun to meet my father in laws family! La Joy made us this quilt for a wedding present! its so beautiful! and its HUGE! We have a California king bed and it hangs on the floor all for sides of the bed! but its so nice! i cant wait to see what it will look like on a high bed with a nice head and foot board!

And this is what Christmas looks like in Boise Idaho...the town stops when it snows even half an inch! Its so pathetic! even when it rains people freak out and start driving ten miles an hour on the highway when its just a wet road! Now i hate driving in bad weather but come on Boise! Learn how to drive!

This is our cute Christmas tree! its small for sure but its cute! we now have half our Christmas under our tree and its so fun to get excited to open them in ten days! and in nine days we get to go back to COLORADO! This will be the first time in almost a year that Steve has been back to Colorado! i cant wait to see my house and my family...ahh i hate living so far away! Every time i get to see Steve's parents i miss mine even more! and lately we have been able to see his parents alot! its so hard to live so far away! But i just cherish my visits to see them even more!

Its ALMOST here!!!!

Ok so for those of you who REALLY know me I LOVE CHRISTMAS! there is nothing more perfect than it! I love the holidays and people all of a sudden become Christ like and giving! For the last two years my favorite part is the day after thanksgiving the lights at temple square come up! They are beautiful! Its were i wanted Steve to propose but i guess i should have told him that..haha Anyways i didn't think Steve and i were thinking that since we moved to Idaho we wouldn't be able to see them BUT we will!!! I cant wait to walk around with hot chocolate and looking at the most beautiful lights and the temple all lit up!

I also like thanksgiving but its not as great as Christmas!! And this year Steve and i get to come home to Colorado for Christmas! (FYI i already have our small Christmas tree up and I get to put up the big one next week!!!) ahhhhhhhhhhh i freaking cant wait!!! snow, Santa clause, red-white hot chocolate, Christmas trees lit up though front room windows with the house lights up and on...Christmas music by country singer!! ahhhhhh I cant wait and it all starts next week!!!

little trip to Poki

If that car had girl parts Steve would have married his car..haha He bought this car totaled and has rebuilt this car and it is so freaking fast! When we got married we left it in Pocatello because having 3 cars and 3 cars to insure was way to much! not to mention this car takes premium and a couple week ago gas was $4.90 a gallon but this weekend while we were in Poki this weekend we got to take it on a quick ride. I always forget how fast it is! My body gets pushed back into the seat when Steve drives...that's probably why Steve got 4 tickets in two months...But it is so pretty hu?

While we were in Poki my great parents in law wanted to try ear candling! So here they are!

On Sunday Steves dad spoke in church and you would never believe what happened...The lights went out while he was speaking in sacrament! It was so cute when he pulled out his miniature flash light so he could continue to speak! Only Rayo would have one handy during a talk!

Steve and I had the best surprise ever last week! My grandparents who live in Logan come to Boise to see us! It was so good to see them! Steve and I would go over to their house at least once a week to eat dinner or just to talk...i miss this sooo much! When they got here they took us out to dinner and Red Robin and then we came home and made nuts for a church thing. In the morning they wanted me to cut their hair! It turned out pretty well, well at least I think it did! We Loved seeing them and miss them sooooo much! But only 11 more days till i get to see them again!

What is happening to this world?!

So just in case you were wondering we didn't get that house...they wanted us to pay WAY to much...and for how much needed to be done it wasn't worth it. I think it ended up being a good thing though because Steve's work place is starting to lay off people. Thankfully we have survived the first big round of lay offs and hopefully there wont be another! So we are still in our little apartment and we probably will stop looking for house until our lease is up. Its only 6 more months..oh well

Well Saturday morning i was walking into school and i saw my instructor Rick say "Don't go in the back stay up front and don't touch anything, the school has been broken into" Some one had broken in to the school(we still have no idea how it happened) and stole all of the money in the register. This is probably the worst thing to happen to my school right now. It has been really slow, we are a new school and not many people are able to get a loan to come to school, Not to much money coming in....It feels like every place i walk into gets robbed..first it was our cars, then the swat team at our apartments, and the many other times the cops have been in our complex, the Applebees we went to this week was also robbed..and NOW THE SCHOOL I GO TO WAS ROBBED! What the heck?!

And to make things better this week our Ward was split into five! It sucks so much! My friend Lacey and I were split up, it sucks...i wish that it would go back to normal. Steve and I were just starting to get comfortable in this ward. So now we are in a new Stake and Ward and have church at 12:30! So many things have changed this week!

Other than these things this week life has been good! I started on the floor this week! It has been really fun doing hair all day(well when someone comes in) I have loved it! Steve is still just working and selling cars...

This is probably the most disgusting thing i have EVER heard! These two girls are both 19 years old are virgins. They are actioning off their virginity to pay for college! This was on Tyra bank show girls look up to her and she has these girls selling their body to who ever will pay the most! What kind of message is she sending to young girls? There was a 60 year old guy who was willing to pay upwards of 1 million dollars! Words don't explain how i feel about theses GIRLS! They have held off for 18 years(which is old for having your virginity these days, the average age for loosing it is 14!) why would they just give it away to some old saggy balls? Save it for someone who will mean something to you! I'm not saying that they NEED to wait for the one they will marry because lets be honest in the real world not many do not. But save it for someone you LOVE... Someone who LOVES you...Once its gone it NEVER comes back...I feel for these girls thinking that it is OK to do this...

WE DID IT!

Today Steve and I put in an offer on that house! We should know by Friday night if the bank will take our offer...we went kinda low so they will probably have a counter offer but we are expecting that...BUT WE COULD BE LIVING IN A HOUSE BY DECEMBER 12!!! I freaking cant wait! Steve and I drive by almost everyday just to "look" at the house because its so pretty..haha Oh i just want it so bad!! so lets all have positive thinking! AND we would be so close to our friends brad and Laura and my new friends from school would be close and it would only take five minutes to get to work and WALMART..haha

Tonight two girls from my school came over and we made cookies...some for Keisha's Boyfriend who is serving in Alaska and some for Calli's boyfriend who is in Salt lake city! It was LOTS of fun!

I CANT WAIT TO FIND OUT IF THE BANK TAKES OUR OFFER!!!!!!!! ahhhh i HATE our apartment!

Steve and I have been playing with the idea of buying a house. We both really want one and we REALLY need one. Our little two bedroom and two bath is NOT big enough! We are spilling out of our second bedroom and our kitchen! This week we found out that we could get approved and this is what we found! This is my favorite house and its such a great price! It has a nice sized backyard and the neighborhood is really nice! I love that it has a security system already which i NEED, I am kinda a scardy cat...The best part is that its about five minutes from school and steve's job! That means I would be able to wake up at 7 instead of 6:20! Anyways...Lets hope that they accept our first offer so we can move in!!
The kitchen is my favorite part! i love the color of the cabinets and the back splash! Its also open enough but still closed off from the living room...This bathroom is the second bathroom so its but i couldn't help myself! I really wish I would have taken more pictures of the rooms but next time we visit ill take more!

REALLY?

so today at school i found something out(that i can not say) but it changed how i look at the world! This thing was really bad and one of those instances that you pray and hope never happen to you. The kind that would change everything about me and effect every little bit of my life...Anyways I never really liked the person who had this happen but it explains EVERYTHING! I feel awful for being annoyed with her..she has been through so much and who am i to think she is annoying? I can be annoying to...but anyways it made me think how lucky i really am to have such a great family, friends and a wonderful husband who loves me for me and so supportive! I have nothing to really worry about, the biggest thing on my mind right now is what to make for dinner! Not weather i am going to pay rent or eat, study or go to work. I know that my family will be there for me and now waking up at 6:30 to go to school is not something to worry about...my life issues are so small! I am just so lucky to know what i know and to be around such great people! Just remember to tell the people you love that you do love them and that your always thinking of them because you never know when they will leave!

Other than that depressing part of my day it was awesome! I LOVE school! I have never been so happy in my life! The girls are supper nice and never mean! I have made such good friends that i needed so badly! Moving to a new place and not knowing a single person is supper scary BUT i really think that both Steve and i have started to make a life for our self. We started looking for houses but we all know how hard it is to get approved for a home loan right now and Steve's commitment issues(a Mormon dating almost 2 year? unheard of...haha) We get to go to salt lake for thanksgiving, my family and his family will be there, i miss having family around! oh well its all good...life is good...well its what you make it i have found out!

Fun, point less and interesting field trip!

Yes you read that right....in beauty school we do take field trips..we went to the art museum and the botanical gardens and then made a pit stop at the Idaho state penitentiary(the old one) It was such a fun day! At our first stop there was a wall with lots of quotes! here are my favorite ones!

I really love the one by Mother Teresa, it made me think about how I talk and I need to talk nicer about people, even if I don't like them. It related back to "be the change you want to see in the world" I would love to see nicer people, and to do that I also need to be nice! what a concept...ha ha

These are the best girls in the world! I would not like school if they were not there! They are so much fun! And they are both so cute, just pretty much the coolest people ever!

Then we went to this place called the botanical gardens...don't really know why we went here but we did and they had really pretty flowers that smelt so good!

GOLD GYM IS STUPID!

So today i went out looking for a gym becuase steve and i need to drop some weight...well i really wanted golds becuase they have such nice stuff! tv's on all cardio machines free yoga classes(which i love) everything is just so nice! but the only hang up is that it costs $50 a person so there is two of us making JUST signing up is $100, now on top of that it is $35 for the first person and 25$ for the second person. Now to use thier gym we would have to pay $100+35+25=$160 to use a freaking gym! now we will probably sign up becuase we really need to..but come on Gold's 160 dollars?! this is why america is fat! it cost to much to be skinny! i could make half a years worth of weddy's trips with just one month of a membership! haha anyways...thats my rant for the day...thanks for listening...

HAPPY THOUGHTS FOR THE KITTY!

Ok so we have these really nice neighbors who have the cutest kitty in the world its about 8 weeks old and their little girl is allergic to it...well it ran away and they were really sad about it and had asked me if i had seen the cat..well today when i went to get the mail there was the kitty on the mail box! so like a good neighbor i went over and said the mail box had a number for a lost kitty! Well the daughter stoped having health and breathing problems so they were not going to claim the cat back, and i asked if i could and she said yes!!! The only problem...Steve hates cats...but i feel so bad for this cat! and i LOVE cats! so please lets have happy thoughts that i will be able to get this cat! Oh i want it SO bad! I can see myself with it right now!

I wish I was older...

I know im only 20 years old and I just got married but Im having baby cravings! Its horrible! I am not ready to have on but they are so cute! and it seems like every place I go there is a baby looking at me! they are everywhere! but deep down inside waking up every two hours doesnt seem fun or not being able to work for years and im still in school so really i dont want one but they sure are cute! and i cant wait to have one when i am ALOT older! I would like a yorkie dog though! They are also so cute! but so expensive!! I looked into one and they are 1000 dollars! The dog would be able to live in our apartment its so small, oh they are so cute!

I cant wait for Christmas! for those of you who know me i start getting excited about this time before Halloween is even here! Steve and I went to lows looking for spray paint and we found three isles of Christmas decorations! it made my week! I cant wait to make a Ginger bread house, smell Cinnamon bread, put up and decorate a Christmas tree, buying presents to wrap up and put under the tree! church is always so much fun during the holidays! ahhhh i really just cant wait for Christmas!!!! ehhh AND THE BEST PART ABOUT THIS CHRISTMAS IS THAT STEVE AND I GET TO COME TO COLORADO!!!!!!!

So I have not posted anything for awhile and LOTS has happened!

I was in salt lake city and Oprah's crew was doing a show on Emily smart and I WAS IN THE STORE WHEN THEY CAME IN! I could POSSIBLY be on the Oprah show..well my back might be...haha
Gods gift to man well Coloradoans..he loves us the most! Big City Burrito potato with ranch onions guac potato's and a jalapeno wrap! Umm!!
To top it off diet mountain dew! umm
We got free tickets to Sara Evans from our neighbors and this is us waiting for it to start in the grass! I have never seen so many trashy people in my life before...my teacher even noticed it! worse than Wyoming....

Things I did today...

Well yesterday I drove eleven hours from Fort Collins Colorado To Boise Idaho...I was gone for a little over a week, it was nice but it feels so good to be with Steve again. needless to say there is ALOT to catch up on...I made a list and got almost everything done! So this is what I did get done.

1. Went to Nampa(15 min. away) to go to Sam's Club and Walmart to go grocery shopping...I left my debit card in my pant pockets that i wore yesterday...what should have taken no more than a hour took about two and a half hours...YUCK!
2. Unloaded my groceries- Noticing that I didnt get everything...Also a very BIG annoyance! and Forgot gas while I was at Sam's(its about ten cents cheaper)
3. Realized that I still had my brothers cuff links and so I went down to UPS and sent them off...
4. Went to the bank to find they were out of stamps...THATS WHY I WENT(FYI the bank is about five blocks away but takes about ten to fifteen mins away!)! So had to find them at another bank...
5. Home again...The apartment was very dusty! Luckily I bought swiffer duster and conditioner...Best Swiffer Product I have ever bought! I used it on my leather couches and they look NEW!(they are about seven years old..)
6. did the dishes two loads
7. Did the laundry...two loads
8. Paid the bills...

It think you get the hint...it was a busy and very frustrating day! Nothing seemed to go my way! Oh well Steve gets home in an hour and a half and we are having a date night! yay!!!

My little trip

This weekend I left Steve and went to Salt Lake City to see my brother play in a concert. The concert was good well i should say if you like opra singing. It was an hour long and when it was over it was TIME for it to be over! But it was really fun to get dressed up and see my parents. I decided that I would go from salt lake to Fort Collins to see my parents and some friends! I am here now and i picked a really bad week, its the first day of classes...no one is around or has time to do anything. Sad day! Oh well its still fun to be home. The last time i came home was in feb. so its nice to just be home. Ill be here till friday morning and then i am packing up and heading to Logan for a night and on saterday ill go back to Idaho..:-( BUT on Tuesday i start school! I cant wait!

2008 Boise Fair!

So Wednesday night Steve and I thought it would be fun to go eat fair food and wander around the fair. Thinking of this is going to be awesome! (in the back of my mind im thinking of the cheyenne frontier days) Nope not that at all! But it was still pretty cool! They had Stingrays there and we could pet them! They are so soft! It feels like wet peach fuz.

This is a bad picture but its the best I could get! The water was really nasty! Still REALLY COOL!!

Well after this we went and meet up with Brad and Laura and had funnel cakes and tacos..UMMM I love them! I had been craving one since we went to the stupid car thing!

I then remembered that I wanted to see the cows! They are always soo much bigger than what you see on the side of the road! That then made me remeber that when i went to Jessie and Rhitts house i never touched the utter! I did it Look!!

Ok so its not the much BUT I still touched it! haha

GET AWAY

This weekend Steve and I decided that we would have a short getaway to Logan to see the Campus, my grandparents and some friends. This was such a good trip! It was so nice to see Whit and Jen and just have a girls day! We went shopping and had Lunch and caught up on life! ah it was so needed! Steve and Dan hung out with the Larsen's. Later on Saturday we went to a demolition derby. Let me just say..what the heck! All you do is sit in the bleachers that are so hard and awkward and watch trashy cars hit each other... all I could think was AND THE POINT IS....? Plus it was $8 a PERSON! that's alot of money to watch something so lame! Oh well my husband thought it was great!

On Friday night Steve and I went up to campus and walked around and remembered the good times we had. walking and crunching the leafs that fell. having soaking wet jeans and shoes from the snow the quad walking though ecles center to warm up. waiting for the bus or hoping that you would know someone driving by to take you home.
Oh my gosh! Steve and I miss Logan so much! It is such a beautiful place to live people are so nice! every one smiles and says hello! It is so nice! Steve and I hope that we can move back to someplace in Utah within the next five or six years!

AHHH

So i started a job here in Boise when we first moved here at Chili's. I had worked at Chili's in Logan for almost two years so I thought it would be a good idea, maybe meet some friends, become a trainer for the perks and it sounded fun. BUT NO!! It was one of the worst places i have EVER worked at! The management was cool as people but when it came to the rules it was HORRIBLE! I got in trouble by a "manager in training" for the level of my ice in a cup! For nibbling on chip that i BOUGHT!! This place was crazy! and then just when I had started to kinda say things are getting better i got written up! for something that i didn't do!!! That was the end of things. i was finished! So i put my two weeks in, thinking that i would be able to find something to do! i put my two weeks in. and finished those two weeks in and did it with a smile! well now i sit on my butt in front of the TV. i don't want to go spend money to find stuff to do. I have decided that being crafty is REALLY expensive! and cant do it. Traveling would mean that i would have to leave Steve at home and once again its really expensive! We are trying to save for a house while the housing market is so low, that we are really trying to watch what we buy. so pretty much i sit at home with my chips and watch Oprah and read my cosmo...

I only have three weeks left! I get to start school September 2nd! and i cant wait!! i really hope it turns out better than my job did.

Things are looking better here in Boise though. we are starting to meet some really fun friends to hang out with! Lacy and Dean are our newest! They are such a fun couple to hang out with! they have two kids who are adorable! I feel really young around them because they are in their 30's but i love them! they are so funny!

Our apartment complex has gone two weeks with no cops! it has been so nice! I was really scary there for a while! any ways now i will stop rambling.

I know its side ways but I once had a roommate who thought this key holder was the stupidest thing ever! I on the other hand love it! I think it look great! haha


this is our second bathroom...our bathroom was to gross to put up!

We had to use my desk as an entertaiment center becuase we dont want to buy one... oh the joys of being a newly wed!

this is the table I had to have so we could eat breakfast together and I can count on one hand how many times we have used it in three months! Oh well It still looks pretty!
