Thanksgiving!

Well these are a bit late but to cute not to share!

She makes this face alllll the time I LOVE it!

We had such a fun time in Colorado for Thanksgiving, Christmas was going to be in Idaho this year but stoves work requires him to be around...We will miss being in Idaho with his family but maybe next year they can come see us for christmas?!

Our little girl turned one month old last monday....she has grown like a little weed! When she was born she was only 30% in weight(i guess when the doctor said i was a hostile environment, he was right...) but Khloe is up to 50%!!! I was kinda sad the doctor didn't measure her length because she is sooo long! We knew she would be long, its not like steve and I are short!

Since she was getting older Steve and I wanted to have some pictures taken of our family and of Khloe. Well we did take pictures and we LOVE THEM! Unfortunately we haven't ordered any yet, but i did take a couple on her 1 month birthday! So more pictures will come of our family but for know enjoy my sweet little girl!

buddy climbed up "on set" and wanted his picture taken to! When we go for her baby blessing in a couple weeks my brother in law is taking family pictures with buddy, poor thing was left out of our other pictures:-(


As for Steve he is working his life away! On Monday he will have 4 days off!!! those 12 to 16 hour days are getting old! But the light is at the end of the tunnel because in the winter the store will die down and he won't be putting in as long of days! Khloe and I miss him ALOT!!!

Me, Im just taking care of Buddy and Khloe. She sleeps 8-9 hours at night without waking up! I feel refreshed on most days,not today, and have started to run/walk to get my baby weight off...it will be an up-hill battle for many months I have a feeling! But as of yesterday morning i fit back into my pre pregnancy jean(they are tight but i got them done up!!)

khloe is here!!!

Khloe Cobbley is finally here! She was born on July 11,2011 at 6lbs 12oz and 21 inches long! We expected that she would be AT LEAST 8 pounds and so before we left the hospital Steve had to go buy clothing for her tiny body!

This is Steve and I right before we went into have Khloe! Steve and my mom were able to be in the room with me! It was such a crazy experience!

this was my first time holding her.... i tried to tell the nurse that I couldn't see her and she just left so we took a fast picture and THEN i was able to see her little face! Nothing has ever been rewarding than seeing your little baby for the first time!!!
Steve and I don't take many pictures and this is the only family picture we have of us in the hospital... and they gave Khloe such an ugly hat to wear...it only lasted while the nurses were in the room!

I LOVE this picture...it is us in recovery so she is only about an hour old and so amazingly small!

There you have it! Khloe Cobbley in all her perfectness! she is going to be 2 weeks old tomorrow, i want to stop time and hold her forever!

23 days to go...

i have had a couple doctor appointments since i was put on "bed rest"...my doctor was out of town the week i was put on bed rest and i saw him again and he said "there is no need for you to be on bed rest" LIFE SAVER! i HATED it! really I didn't do a very good job of staying down unless shopping and going to lunch is part of bed rest! plus the way the other doctor made it sound we would be having our baby very soon, my doctor is like "nope you still have plenty of time" so I am AALLLL ready bottles washed formula bought and bags packed:-) Khloe just needs to stay in till sunday and then technically i am full term at 37 weeks:-)

Other than Khloe life for steve is crazy...he works a billion hours a day and a trillion hours a week! he is such an amazing guy even if that means me sitting around waiting for him to get home:-) I miss working, i miss rock springs, i miss everything about our life in Rock Spring but luckily my family is amazing at coming up to cheyenne and im down in Fort Collins once a weeks for doctor appointments.

Steves parents were able to stop for 3 nights on their way to mount rushmore and we had a blast having them! we went to the Denver zoo(i forgot my camera:-() and had a super fun bbq at our house with steve's friends from high school my family and his! once again do you think i have photos...no..hopefully i get better at taking pictures of other things besides Buddy...

really we live a pretty boring life in a boring town. I know its all about to change in just a couple weeks:-)

in need of good news!

well lets just say the past two weeks have been HORRIBLE! everything that could go wrong has.... like a pipe breaking at our rental property and because of insurance and the city not taking responsibility we are looking at a HHHHUUUUUGGGGEEEEE bill...like one big enough to buy a car... just love being a home owner right now..i feel soo bad for our renter but luckily she is the only thing that hasn't gone wrong, she is wonderful! she is going to have to put up with the sidewalk and street being torn up and then replacing the pipe and the sidewalk and street being pored again, and on top of this she cant do laundry or dishes and has to limit flushing the toilet... seriously she is the only thing going right....

NEXT i have been put on bed rest....uck! my poor little girls heart rate keeps raising, and i am climbing on the preclamsia chart( high blood pressure, protein in urine swelling and the only way to stop it from getting worse is to deliver her early, if it gets to bad i could die) now im not expecting to die because im still on the low end but she seems to be the one who is declining. this week i have a BUNCH of testing to have done and then on Thursday we go in for an ultra sound to see if her lungs have developed enough just in case we need to deliver early, i will be 35 weeks if we deliver next week...

so any ways this week has sucked.....

BUDDY!

if you know me at all you know that my dog is the best dog:-) he recently turned two, this year we kinda forgot about it(probably a good thing) but he has been doing some really cute things and we have some in pictures! enjoy my cute baby boy!

Buddy will sit on the top of the couch and put his head on your head when he has ran to much for the day!
forget about having your window up even if its -10 outside, buddy demands he gets to put his head out the window no matter what! i know he looks sad in this picture but we were leaving the dog park and he is always soooo sad when we leave...
cant find him? he is probably nestled in some random place sleeping and wont come out until you find him, he was "lost" for about an hour behind a mattress resting against the wall!

I CANT BELIEVE IN TWO MONTHS FROM TODAY I WILL BE HOLDING MY LITTLE GIRL!!!! i feel like i have soo much left to get ready for her to come home...but really all the check list(yes i do use them) online say i have more than enough for her to come home. ever since we have moved to Cheyenne i have wanted her here with me more than anything! its hard to bring her home here and not to Rock Springs. i had paint colors and chair railings bird cages with candles hanging from the ceiling all ready to be ordered and then we found out we were moving and now i dont even get to paint her room...its hard knowing im not going to have a perfect room and perfect house to bring her home and not to mention all the great friends i have in rock springs to help me figure motherhood out BUT i have to remember how blessed i am to be having this little girl that it doesnt matter were i bring her home to as long as she is healthy and happy i should be happy!!
I was looking back on the highlights of this pregnancy and i know you probably dont care but i have to have them so i dont forget and maybe will make me want to do pregnancy again!

1. the trip to fort collins for fun and asking my mom for a sleeping pill and she asked me if i was pregnant and i said "come on mom, i cant be prego im never pregnant plus i took a test yesterday and it was negative" well i took the sleeping pill and it made me sooooo sick!! my mom came home with pregnancy test the next day and guess what?! I was pregnant!!
2. having a shirt made for buddy that said "Big brother in training" and going to pocatello and having buddy wear the shirt and sit on grandmas lap and she didn't get it! we had to say " do you get it" then she broke out in tears! and then made us a fabulous breakfast to celebrate! she later said she thought in her head...yeah right they must be wishing! haha i love my in laws! i will bet you 1000 dollars mine are better than yours!
3. finding a doctor in Ogden Utah who finally got me excited about a doctor and telling us we were having a little girl! he was so amazing...i miss him..haha but my new doctor is just as fabulous!
4. waiting and anticipating for what she will look like. only two more months and i just cant wait!!!

Almost 29 weeks!!

Finally I look preggers all the time! This is on a "bigger" day and feel like a whale by the time dinner time rolls around! And steve finally got sick of me crying every morning that none of my pants fit sooo he dragged me to the store to buy maternity pants(I think they are the ugliest things on earth) he pretty much forced me to buy them....now I can't say nothing fit...

khloe's heart:-)

week 23 of my pregnancy i went in for my target ultrasound(measuring baby to see if everything was growing and functioning properly). well about a week after i went in we received a devastating phone call saying the ultrasound found a heart arrhythmia(irregular heart beat). this was super scary for my family because we have lost babies due to heart problems. so we scheduled another ultrasound in Ogden Utah and they didn't take our insurance so we waited until this last week to get in with a specialist in Denver. we were so blessed to find out that she had out grown her heart problem and she had even grown grown to a staggering 2.9 pounds! at week 23 she weighted 1.1 pound so hearing almost 3 pounds is a slap in the face...yes i know she will get bigger and that scares me even more! Steve and i hope that she will stay in for the remaning 11 weeks and we cant wait to meet her!

Snuggles

Buddy has taken this move pretty well considering everything that has gone on! Every morning when we sit down on the couch he cuddles up and naps for about an hour:) I'm so excited to have khloe and buddy to snuggle with! Less than 3 months left(85 days but who's counting?!)

Moving

Well we are officially moved out of rock springs....almost 2 years to the day we moved in.... Honestly I'm really missing it, ok back up not missing the town but the amazing friends we made while we were there! We had so much help hauling trash to the dump and loading the truck(9 o'clock on a Saturday and about 10 people showed up!) The truck was loaded in about an hour and off we went to cheyenne were my amazing family help unload our truck! Surprisingly nothing was broke! Our BIGGEST problem we have is that we went from 1600sq feet to about 1300 and a 2 car garage down to just one.... We have NO room! Our 4th bedroom is going to be our storage unit:) oh well we are just so lucky to have moved again and have everything fall into place!

To be frugal or not?

Since we are moving I have quit both my jobs so I was able to pack the house, find a new doctor, find a place to live and get ready for khloe to join our family!
while I was working we ate out when we wanted, bought new clothes, steve new 55 inch LED tv and wall mount u get the idea it was nice! But with out my income I have tryed to cut corners by cooking again not shopping as much and so on. This has been hard when it comes to khloe, I LOVE carters clothing but 20 dollars per shirt or outfit is kinda a lot for something khloe is going to grow out of in 5(if I'm lucky) months.
So as I was walking in the baby isle in walmart they had a clearance rack with baby clothing for only 3 dollars! I was nervous at first because it wasn't carters that I love but look at how cute these clothes are! And 3 dollars a piece!

Baby belly

I realized I'm 25 weeks(about 6 months) and havnt taken any pregnancy pictures of my belly. Much of that is because I have just looked fat and bloated until now! My belly pooped literally over night! Its nice not being asked" who are you buying all baby stuff for?" At the register! Now I am getting when are you due!? I love it!

on the move

not only is out little Khloe moving like crazy but so are Steve and I! Steve was transferred to Cheyenne Wyoming last week! We have about 6 weeks to rent our home out and move! we both have really wanted to make a move out of Rock Springs since the day we moved in! With our trip to Hawaii we kept saying "we really need to get out of Rock Springs, its so ugly here!" and about a month later here we are saying our final good byes. We are REALLY going to miss everyone we have meet and become friends with! I have never had such good friends and felt so welcomed before! i know i am going to miss everyone in our ward and the salon I work at! the girls at work have become my family in Rock Springs! Especially when Steve started working 10 to 12 hour days! but ask anyone we just were not happy to be living in rock springs....so we are headed to Cheyenne. I am especially happy to be moving there because my family and best friend lives only 45 minutes away!! sooo much better than the two and a half hour drive to salt lake.

ok so now to khole, that is what we have named our little nugget, she has been growing for 23 weeks today and at my target ultra sound she measured 1.1 pound and rump to crown 6 inches! it is just so amazing to me that she is growing so fast! only 17 more weeks till she is here! this past couple of weeks i have been starting to see her when she kicks me! I feel so blessed to finally be expecting! it took what felt like forever! I am so exited to have a family of 4(yes i do count my dog in that number)!

We are having a girl!!! And I can't stop shopping for her! In our mall there is a stand with blank signs and he puts the words you want on it! I saw a dark version of this sign but wanted it in white and black to match the nursery! I LOVE it! I couldn't be happier with a little girl but poor steve still "needs time to process" he really wanted a boy! Maybe next time in the FAR FAR future!!

My friend has a little girl who is so cute! She doesn't really talk much, she is pretty shy....UNTILL steve comes around and she is a chatter BOX and laughing loud! I wanted to snuggle with her and she went to steve instead... Cute pic though!

Movie night:)

Since steve had to work new years we had our own the night after! We brought down a mattress and blankets and watched movies and ate ice cream! We have done this 2 years in a row...hope we can keep doing it!
