Sunday dinner....

On sundays steve and I really love making a new dish and trying something new. Well saturday(after he got home at 9) we went shopping for our meal and he said he wanted fried spam and chili and corn bread... I have say at first I about gagged at the thought. But he did try sushi and indian food for me and he ended up liking them so I had to try his food. And it wasn't as bad as you would think. DONT GET ME WRONG I DONT THINK I WILL EVER CRAVE THESE FOODS BUT they arnt as bad as you would think...

What a weekend part 2

Saturday steve went to seven peaks water park with his young men and left me with 5 loads of laundry, dirty floors, dishes pouring our the side of the sink, last coat of paint on the dresser, dust that was super thick, and then my dog decided to get sick and puke all over! Saturday was miserable! I never showered or got out of my cleaning clothes, and here it is 2 days later and I feel like it needs to be cleaned again....never ending....

What a weekend!!

This was my week long project! I forget how much I hate sanding priming painting and waiting to dry! But I love the end and much better it looks! I just need to find cute handles now:)

Bug bite?

Alright wednesday morning I woke up with a small bite on my arm, itched so freaking bad. But like my mom told me itching only makes it worse...yep she was right again. By 2 my bite was about an inch high hard as rock and about 5 inches wide! I still had 3 appointments for the day so I tried to go on...well my arm went NUMB!!! then asking were can I go to the urgent care when I remember WE DONT HAVE INSURANCE!!! Since steve quit his job and took a new one we don't have insurance till september 1st! Sucky....so I finish my appointments, take benadryl(sp) and put ice on it, feel came back about 9. And the next day not even a bump.... It was so scary! Glad its over:)its a little hard to see in this pic but you get the point! It sucked!

Up up and away!

Well life for the past month has pretty much sucked...no job, REALLY needed a new car, my salon has rumors flying of shutting down, no job(oh wait I already said it, that's how much it sucked!).

BUT...... This weekend we had a BIG turn around. We went to denver to look at a car(yes still with no job) and actually bought it. we got a saturn vue and we LOVE it! Came home and was shopping and steve got a phone call offering him a JOB!!! We get to stay in Rock springs and its a significant increase in pay:) we have been so blessed by how fast a job came! And a good job at that! Later that night my parents took us to dinner to celebrate and the food took OVER an hour so it ended up being FREE! Nothing better than free food right? Any ways so grateful that we found a job and even more grateful we get to stay in our house! Rock springs has grown on me:)
