finaly...

we got a new tv and an actual tv stand!! About two weekends ago rc willey was having a big sale on everything with great financing so we finally did it! The picture does not do it justice! We are moving in about 3 weeks and when we move in we will pick everything up and hopefully it will help our new place feel more like home! if nothing else it will help it look better!

Today I missed school...i never heard my alarm clock go off this morning and i woke up at 7:30 and if im ten minutes late i get sent home...with a thirty min drive out to nampa there was no way i would make it to school by 8! so today i was so bored! i have done nothing...i hate sitting around....i wanted to go to school so much..oh well...

My name is nicky and I fake "n" bake...

I did it thats right...i know i promised i wouldn't ever fake n bake again but i had to! I was getting so white and not seeing the sun for almost 3 weeks was getting really hard...and then my friend Keisha gave me a weeks worth of free tanning so...i caved in and went....and it was AMAZING!!! they have this new bed that scans your skin tones and only puts the rays that your skin needs to tan! It was amazing...it had a mister and a cooling fan that actually cooled the bed down....i was able to go for 20 mins(i didnt have a base tan either) and didnt burn! i only got an amazing tan! the only bad part is that if i didnt have a week free with any bed that one twenty mins would have cost me $40...it will be nice for the next week to get super tan and then by the time its gone it will be Summer, ahh it was a wonderful day!

PEOPLE NEED TO STOP!

Ok...perms are gross...i dont care who you are or what the conditions....YOU DO NOT NEED A PERM! The only way a perm is ok is if you dont have arms and cant do your hair yourself! if you dont have BOTH your arms go ahead ask for a perm...if not just dont, they are nasty! Plus we hate doing them! oh and if by any chance you do get your hair stylist lets you get one dont say you need to be out in two hours...its just not going to happen....

I had a very frustrating lady today at school she asked for a perm, asked me to wash it out after the perm solution had been put on(just in case you dont know if you wash withing 48 hours you loose your perm curl) then asked me to put a color on her hair and NOT wash it out!!! My instructors told me I had to do everything to! then she showed me how she liked her hair to be done and i turned her around after two of us worked on it and she goes "ugh this is ugly" it looked just like how she showed me! erg some people piss me off...

So lesson to be learned dont get a perm(unless you dont have arms)!!!!

Haha i saw this picture and i laughed so hard! because i feel like this is all i say all day long...don't get me wrong, i love being Mormon wouldn't change it for the world but count how many times you say this in a day..haha well i guess for people who live in Utah dont say this much but in nampa idaho i sure say it alot! haha

out of shape?

Since i got married in May I have not had a place to work out...so I just didn't...Steve and I thought about getting a membership to a gym but they are freaking expensive! Well lately i have been getting really depressed about my body and the twelve pounds that i have put on in 9 months.. Well Oprah show last week and then again today was on health, while i was watching it today i had the urge to go running outside(i hate running outside...) well i got dressed and started out to run thinking i would be gone for at least 40 mins...HAHA I found a track from an old school and could run less than a mile!!! In high school and before i got married i could run 3 miles and not stop to break! haha in my three laps around the track i had to take 3 breaks!! Im pathetic! So here is my goal...I want to be able to run a full mile by the end of the month...doesn't sound like much to most people but I guess i have to start some were! So keep me to this goal!!!

Oh ps..we didnt get the house...it was very sad to hear but that just means it was not meant to be.:-( it was a very sad day!

I always forget how lucky I really am!

I have found that while doing hair people spill their life and will tell me things they wouldn't have even if i was one of their friends. Today I was given a lovely mother of 2 beautiful children and she was 21 years old. She was the kindest lady and she was living in a women's rehab center...She told me her life and i gave her an insight into my life, and i realized how lucky I am to have such a great family and friends who support me in everything i do! Also to have the Gospel in my life, I have never had such an urge to tell someone about the church, She just needed a little bit of guidance in her life...She had a hard childhood and doesn't know how to get out of it! I brought it up a little but i wish now i would have had the nerve to say more...i hope she will come back and we can talk about it some more! Such a great experience! If i don't see her again i hope the best for her!

Still have not heard back from the bank about the house...we should hear back tomorrow! Ahh we really want this to work!

Remember this picture? Because the last time i posted this picture Steve and I had put in an offer on the house and the bank pretty much laughed in our face...WELL we called our Realtor and asked him if this house was still on the market and it was! Well to make it even better IT DROPPED IN PRICE! Even lower than what we had offered the first time...so we decided to put in another offer! We should know by Thursday if we got the house or not!!! If we get the house we will be moved in and everything done by March 1st!! I would KILL to have this house its so perfect for what Steve and I need right now! And the Price is AMAZING! Lets all keep our fingers crossed and only positive thinking!!!!
